Todd Barnett


Todd is the founding pastor of The Anchor Bible Church plant.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from 
Southwest Baptist University (1987) in Bolivar, Missouri where he was a starting defensive lineman for the Bearcats for four years, earning NAIA II All-District honors. He then served as a youth and worship pastor while working as a systems analyst in Houston, Texas.

While earning a Master of Divinity degree from 
The Master's Seminary (2000) in Sun Valley, California, he served as a pastoral intern at Grace Community Church and vice principal, chaplain and head football & basketball coach at Grace Community School, under the pastoral leadership of Dr. John MacArthur.

While serving as 
college/career and worship pastor at Bethel Baptist Church in Lancaster, California, he led Bethel Christian School through dual WASC/ACSI accreditation as head administrator/principal. He also coached the jr. high football Eagles to three consecutive league championships. He then served for six years as the pastor to a single adult and special needs ministry.

He is a graduate of the inaugural Grace Advance Academy (2011), a ministry of Grace Community Church, committed to training shepherds to pastor developing churches.

Since 1987 he has served in the local church with emphases on expository preaching, teaching, discipleship, evangelism, leadership-training and counseling.

He and his wife, Kimberli, have six children.
