TODAY’S SCRIPTURE READING
Genesis 27:1-17

TODAY’S MEMORY VERSE
“When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw
Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat,
and they were frightened.
20 But he said to them, ‘It is I; do not be afraid.’”
                                                                                        John 6:19-20

MESSAGE
“Jesus, Giver of Eternal Life”
John 6:22-34
Today we will see that Jesus rebukes the crowd in their
craving for momentary earthly fulfillment, calling them to enduring,
eternal contentment, so that we may find satisfaction in the Bread of Life.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy
and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Family Group Ministry
This is where we get to know each other and meet one another’s needs.
Each family group is a diverse group of Christians within our larger church family
who grow together in our love for Christ and His church.

Family groups are for everyone regardless of age, marital
status or spiritual maturity. Each group is a small flock within our flock,
a refuge for comfort, strength and growth led by a biblically-qualified
shepherd into fellowship, prayer, singing,
Bible study and the practice of each person’s spiritual gifts.
